Description
Creativity is increasingly becoming an in-demand skill for today's workforce. This online self-paced course introduces the importance of promoting creativity and fostering the use of creative thinking in the workplace as it relates to problem solving and innovation. Through a series of videos and writing exercises, participants will practise applying their creativity skills, specifically within a Government of Canada context.
Topics include:
- defining creativity and its importance
- introducing the basic concepts behind the neuroscience of creativity
- identifying the benefits of creative thinking at work
- exploring methods to promote, develop and strengthen creativity in the workplace
- applying different creativity techniques, exercises and activities in the workplace
