"Speaking Truth to Power" is a favoured expression in the workplace, often used to guide the manner in which advice is given. This online self-paced course explores the meaning and misconceptions behind the notion of speaking truth to power, and the resulting dynamic between advisors (public servants) and decision-makers (elected officials). Participants will be given opportunities to reflect on the necessary facts, context, perspectives and nuances needed to influence the decision-making process within and external to their organization.
