Description

The use of digital and remote tools continues to increase exponentially across all sectors. This online self-paced course shares best practices, behaviours and tools for succeeding in dispersed teams work environment. Participants will explore ways to help transform workplace culture and attitudes, and embrace collaboration within dispersed teams.

Topics include:

• challenging misconceptions, preconceptions and mindsets about dispersed team work in the federal public service
• deconstructing individual and group challenges that can arise in a dispersed team
• adopting behaviours that support the development of dispersed teams
• approaching technology from various levels of proficiency
• creating different tools such as a personal user guide (“user guide to me”) and team charter to support collaboration
