Required equipment for virtual courses

To fully participate in the School's virtual courses, you must have a camera and a microphone.

Whether people meet in a formal setting or get together spontaneously, their awareness of the meeting environment is bound to contribute to the success of the meeting. This course focuses on how to make virtual meetings more effective. Participants will learn how to use the basic functions of the virtual environment, adopt strategies for conducting online meetings that are more engaging, and apply best practices for resolving technical issues.

Topics include:

  • outlining the characteristics of a good facilitator
  • planning and managing better meetings
  • creating an effective virtual setting
  • using the virtual environment tools
