The best way to make use of a decision-maker's valuable time is to deliver a thoughtful, well-constructed oral briefing confidently and succinctly. This course for executives presents the strategies and tools needed to deliver a two-minute oral briefing to executives for decision with maximum effectiveness. Participants will learn how to identify key elements and relevant facts tailored to their audience's needs, after which they will practise delivering their briefings in two minutes or less with feedback from their peers.

Notes:
This course consists of two modules, delivered during the same session, plus one hour of independent work in between modules. Course registration is reserved for executives.
This course focuses exclusively on preparing oral briefings. Alternatively, Writing Briefing Notes (TRN118) is available to help prepare written briefing notes. Being Brief: Planning and Delivering a Successful Briefing (TRN152) is also available for all public servants.
