Description
The art of project management requires flexibility, but also stringent guiding principles. This online self-paced course explores the project management principles of stewardship, collaboration, stakeholder engagement, leadership and risk. Participants will learn about evaluating project complexity and exposure to risk, and the importance of adaptability and resiliency in project management.
Topics include:
- identifying the characteristics of project principles
- examining the principles of stewardship, value and quality
- exploring the importance of adaptability and risk in project management
Notes:
This course is intended for all public servants, including those with or without project management experience. Materials are aligned with the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition.
Completion of the 26 courses in the CAPM® course series can count towards the eligibility requirements for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam administered for a fee by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
The CAPM® exam is not administered by the Canada School of Public Service. Learners wishing to take the exam are responsible for validating their eligibility directly with PMI.
