Description
Effective project management requires diligent thought about how to best organize the work, prepare the people and validate performance. This online self-paced course explores the key characteristics of project performance domains and the importance of establishing a development approach that optimizes outcomes. Participants will learn how to foster productive working relationships with stakeholders and shared ownership among team members.
Topics include:
- reviewing the domains of stakeholder performance, project work performance, delivery and uncertainty
- recalling the key characteristics of the development approach and lifecycle performance domain
- learning to develop productive relationships with stakeholders
Notes:
This course is intended for all public servants, including those with or without project management experience. Materials are aligned with the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition.
Completion of the 26 courses in the CAPM® course series can count towards the eligibility requirements for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam administered for a fee by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
The CAPM® exam is not administered by the Canada School of Public Service. Learners wishing to take the exam are responsible for validating their eligibility directly with PMI.
