Description
One of the most rewarding aspects of project management is working with others to accomplish a shared goal. This online self-paced course explores topics related to project management stakeholder work, including engagement and identification. Participants will learn how to prioritize stakeholders and stakeholder needs, and monitor stakeholder engagement and interactions throughout a project.
Topics include:
- identifying key concepts, steps and outcomes related to the management of stakeholder performance
- discovering best practices for effective stakeholder engagement
- recalling best practices for identifying stakeholders
- explaining how stakeholders interact with all project work
Notes:
This course is intended for all public servants, including those with or without project management experience. Materials are aligned with the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition.
Completion of the 26 courses in the CAPM® course series can count towards the eligibility requirements for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam administered for a fee by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
The CAPM® exam is not administered by the Canada School of Public Service. Learners wishing to take the exam are responsible for validating their eligibility directly with PMI.
