Description

Effective project managers are adept at quickly pivoting their project plans. This online self-paced course explains the purpose, benefits, considerations and strategies for project tailoring. Participants will learn about the tailoring process, including stakeholder engagement, tools, methods and artifacts.

Topics include:

  • explaining the purpose for and benefits of tailoring projects
  • identifying options for tailoring projects
  • exploring appropriate tailoring considerations and strategies

Notes:

This course is intended for all public servants, including those with or without project management experience. Materials are aligned with the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition.

Completion of the 26 courses in the CAPM® course series can count towards the eligibility requirements for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam administered for a fee by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

The CAPM® exam is not administered by the Canada School of Public Service. Learners wishing to take the exam are responsible for validating their eligibility directly with PMI.
