Description

Financial management is an important central function that supports the delivery of programs and services to Canadians. Effective financial management contributes to the efficient use of public resources and ensures sound stewardship of public funds.

This event will explore the popular Financial Officer Recruitment and Development program and other advanced development programs for finance officers. Speakers will share their insights about the various career paths that finance officers can take within the public service.

Participants will learn how key skill sets and approaches can help propel their careers and how to get better equipped with the tools and resources to do so.
