Description

Imposter syndrome refers to the feeling of inadequacy or self-doubt someone may have about their abilities, despite their accomplishments or qualifications. While universally applicable, it is particularly prevalent among those in management and leadership roles, and it has an observable effect on both performance and personal well-being.

Hosted by the National Managers’ Community, this event features Dr. Katy Kamkar, a clinical psychologist and Associate Ombud of Mental Health at Public Services and Procurement Canada, who will offer her expert insights into how managers can cultivate a healthy self-perception. Drawing on her expertise in resiliency, self-efficacy and workplace mental health, Dr. Kamkar will share her experience in fostering coping flexibility and implementing effective stress management strategies.

Participants will gain practical tools for navigating a rapidly changing work environment and strengthening their managerial and leadership abilities.
