As workplaces continue to rapidly evolve, human-centred approaches play a critical role in the change process. This course explores the key pillars of applying a people-first approach to helping managers lead their teams through change. Through virtual discussions, participants will learn about the pillars of trust, listening, and mattering, along with practical tools to use in support of each of these pillars.

Topics include:

• exploring the different types of resistance to change that leaders may encounter
• examining trust, listening and mattering as pillars of a people-first approach in a context of psychological safety
• leveraging strategies and other resources to help managers lead their teams in a rapidly evolving workplace

Notes:

While this discussion-based course is designed for supervisors, managers and executives who actively lead others, learners at all levels who are pursuing a certificate of completion of the Leadership Learning Path are also eligible to register for this course.
