Solving problems involves defining the problem, determining its cause and selecting a solution. This online self-paced course presents practical tools and techniques for brainstorming, evaluating and selecting the best solutions to identified problems. Participants will be prompted to think creatively and avoid common pitfalls when solving complex problems.

Topics include:

• identifying the key steps in the problem-solving process
• brainstorming techniques to generate solutions
• drafting strategies to common challenges in the solution generation process
• evaluating and selecting criteria to determine the most effective solutions
