Description

The relationships between line departments and central agencies are ones that all executives must navigate. However, the interactions required between these two types of organizations can often be challenging and complex.

This EXecuTALK event features Delbert McBrine and Sarah Van Diepen, both directors at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS), who will share their insights on how to efficiently leverage and collaborate with TBS and other central agencies.

Participants will learn how to optimize their interactions with their central agency counterparts and how to navigate certain operations, such as the early engagement process, TBS policy centre review process, proceed to signature process, post-sign-off briefing process, and condition or commitment follow-up.
