Description

Each employer plays an important role in supporting and protecting the health of their employees through organizational policies, regulations and programs that contribute to workplace well-being and better personal wellness.

This forward-looking event features Dr. Zayna Khayat, a health futurist and co-author of The Future of Aging, who will explore how organizations, including the federal public service, are quickly becoming stakeholders in the health care of their workforce. The event will look at the public policy implications of this shift, the changing consumer and employee expectations, the role of technology in proactive health management, and the regulatory considerations of prioritizing health in the workplace.

Participants will gain practical strategies for integrating health-focused approaches into policy making, collaborating across sectors, shaping incentives for business-led health initiatives, and ensuring that regulations keep pace with innovation.

Speaker

  • Dr. Zayna Khayat, Adjunct Professor and Executive-in-Residence, Health Sector Strategy, Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto
