In today’s public sector environment, federal organizations must navigate increasing complexity and risk. In doing so, credible costing information is vital for decision-making, effective stewardship, long-term planning, accountability and maintaining public trust.
This event will discuss the implications of costing in decision-making by outlining the key roles and processes involved in producing credible cost estimates, drawing on the Government of Canada’s Guide to costing and Guide to Assessing Cost Estimates .
Participants will gain a better understanding of how credible costing information is developed and how it can be leveraged to drive better decision-making.
