Description
Fire safety and prevention is everyone's responsibility. This online self-paced course explains the chemistry of fire, the types of fires, common fire hazards and ways to prevent and respond to fires in the workplace. Participants will learn about the general requirements for emergency exits and how to properly use portable fire extinguishers.
Topics include:
- the chemistry of fire
- classifying types of fire
- general requirements for means of egress
- using portable fire extinguishers
