Description
Everyone in the workplace can benefit from a basic understanding of how to work safely with electricity. This online self-paced course focuses on the common electrical hazards found in the workplace and methods to minimize or eliminate those hazards. Participants will learn about the basic rules of electricity, common electrical safety issues, and actions to take in an electricity-related emergency.
Topics include:
- recalling the basic rules of electricity and electrical safety
- identifying the effect of electricity on the body
- recognizing and evaluating common electrical hazards
- describing methods to control electrical hazards
