Description

The Quality of Life Framework for Canada aims to measure what matters most to Canadians, to help drive evidence-based budgeting and decision-making at the federal level and lead to better outcomes. It consists of a set of 84 indicators, organized into five domains — prosperity, health, society, environment and good governance—and two cross-cutting lenses—the fairness and inclusion lens and the sustainability and resilience lens.

This informative event will include speakers from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, the Department of Finance, Statistics Canada, and the Public Health Agency of Canada, who will introduce participants to the Quality of Life Framework for Canada, the importance of quality of life data, and how public servants can apply the Framework to their work.

Participants will gain a better understanding of the Quality of Life Framework and how its implementation can help improve the results they deliver to Canadians.
