Description
The Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC) is the largest workplace charitable campaign in Canada. In support of the GCWCC, federal public servants raise awareness and collect funds annually to help the communities and people who need it most. Whether to a friend, a neighbour or a community foodbank, the GCWCC Matters! Every donation makes a difference.
This opening ceremony acts as the launch event for the national campaign and will highlight the impact that donations and other charitable actions make from coast to coast to coast. A number of special guests will join in, including John Hannaford, Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet.
Participants will learn how they can donate to the causes they care about most. Get involved by joining the ongoing conversation on social media using #GCWCCMatters or visit the GCWCC's website.
