The GC Cloud for Managers and Executives learning path was designed to give public service managers and executives the necessary foundation to support the Government of Canada’s transition to cloud computing as part of their respective organizational mandates. Modules in the learning path include core content and opportunities to apply new learning.

GC Cloud for Managers and Executives: Enabling the Deployment of GC Cloud (DDN213)
This online self-paced course identifies what needs to be done to ensure the successful deployment of GC Cloud, including integrating it into existing operations and tracking its use. Participants will learn about the strategies needed to migrate their data into GC Cloud, modernize their procedures and communicate the value of GC Cloud to others.

GC Cloud for Managers and Executives: Planning for GC Cloud (DDN211)
This online self-paced course focuses on the fundamentals of using GC Cloud as a business decision, and the importance of proper planning prior to its implementation. By reviewing common financial and IT considerations, participants will learn to recognize the value of GC Cloud and the role of having a sound plan to help guide its integration.

GC Cloud for Managers and Executives: Supporting the Procurement of GC Cloud (DDN212)
This online self-paced course presents the starting points needed to cost out GC Cloud services, budget for its ongoing use, and support the cross-divisional procurement process. Participants will learn how to determine the best-fit service provider and partner with IT teams to successfully procure GC Cloud services for their organization.
