This online self-paced course provides an overview of grants and contributions, including the different categories of transfer payments, the life cycle of the transfer payment program and the role of key stakeholders in the process. Participants will learn about the objectives and expected results of the Policy on Transfer Payments and its related directive, as well as the important characteristics of transfer payments.
Transfer Procedures for Government and Ministerial Records
This event will introduce Library and Archives Canada’s (LAC) new operational metadata standard and procedures for the transfer of digital, physical and analog government records. It will present the new criteria for transferring government records to LAC using its web transfer form, and explain how these government records are integrated into LAC’s extensive archive.
