This event recording features functional experts from the Accessibility, Accommodation and Adaptive Computer Technology Program at Shared Services Canada, who explore the steps for obtaining an IT-related accommodation, the resources and adaptive computer technologies that are available, and how to acquire them.
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
This online self-paced course offers an overview of the WHMIS changes, including updates to hazard classification, hazard labels and safety data sheets. Participants will learn about physical and health hazards encountered in the workplace, as well as controls for minimizing or eliminating exposure to hazardous materials.

This online self-paced course introduces a four-step process to writing an effective briefing note: plan, research, draft and review. Participants will learn how to use this approach to prepare clear, concise and strategic briefing notes that are in line with their communication goals.
