Aspiring Directors Program
The Aspiring Directors Program (ADP) is a guided development activity for identified candidates to reflect on the competencies that are critical to the success of executives in the federal public service. Participants will explore the importance of self-awareness and personal reflection in becoming a better leader, and examine the leadership and self‑management skills needed to build teams and become an effective agent of change.

Audience and Purpose in Business Writing
This online self-paced course looks at how to properly identify your target audience and adapt the tone of your message to suit the reader and the business purpose. Participants will explore a number of topics, including how to write effectively for the three most common purposes in business writing: to inform, to respond and to persuade.

Authority Delegation Training Program
The Authority Delegation Training Program (ADT) provides the essential information needed for managers and executives to successfully obtain and execute their delegated authorities in the areas of human resources, finance and procurement. Participants will learn about the core legislation, regulations, policies and guidelines that govern their roles and responsibilities within the federal public service.

Authority Delegation Training: Using Public Funds Responsibly
This online self-paced course for managers at all levels provides an overview of the expected practices for the sound management of public funds through responsible planning, spending and reporting. By reviewing helpful examples, participants will learn how to exercise their delegated financial authorities in line with government policies, practices and procedures.

Authority Delegation Validation Assessment for Executives
This online self-paced validation assessment provides public service executives with helpful guidance on exercising their delegated authorities through a series of multi-faceted scenarios that build upon the courses in the Authority Delegation Training Program. Participants must complete the scenarios, exercises and validation questions in their entirety to complete this assessment.
